Running, trying and wanting

Running, Trying & Wanting

I am pulling

the momentum

from my living

I am freeing myself,

from myself.

I am watching of effortlessly

love comes to me

and through me.

The body performs

all the necessary activities

and the mind begins to

feel the ease of the master, I, within.

Running, trying & wanting

are now ghosts.

They are transperent,

and I see through them.

I feel their elation and

their residual fear, and

their blessed relief

as they gratefully

lay down their arms

at the Master’s feet.

I open my heart

to these plants

and rocks and sky before me.

I give them my tears

from the well of this

new dawn.

That sacred place

from which they

have forever drank.
